Throughout the pandemic, UMass Amherst has made its decisions based on state and federal guidance. Governor Charlie Baker recently announced that Massachusetts is on track to have over 4 million citizens vaccinated by June and is a nationwide leader in vaccinating residents to stop the spread of COVID-19. As a result, effective this Saturday, May 29, the Commonwealth is lifting all remaining COVID-19 restrictions.
