Osmium Tetroxide

Osmium tetroxide is commonly used as an oxidizing reagent for synthesis and as a staining agent for microscopy.  It is highly toxic and must be handled with great care to lower risk.  This SOP details safe handling procedures and hazard mitigation strategies.
