Hazardous Building Material Assessment for Demolition, Renovation and Maintenance Projects.
Note: Prior to conducting renovations, demolitions or maintenance on a University of Massachusetts (UMASS) building/facility, a HAZMAT survey must be conducted by an Asbestos Accreditation 40 CFR Appendix C to Subpart E of Part 763 Inspector and under TSCA Title II.
Results of the survey must be filed with the Project Manager (UMASS/DCAM/UMBA), EH&S, and contractors performing the work.
