The purpose of these guidelines is to identify the processes and requirements that must be followed to ensure compliance with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Emergency Engine and Turbine Compliance Certification Requirements. These guidelines apply to emergency engines with a rated power output equal to or greater than 37 kW and less than one MW that have been installed after March 23, 2006, on the University of Massachusetts, Amherst campus or its satellite facilities.
The above document contains the EH&S Emergency Engine or Turbine Certification Form that needs to be completed for any new emergency engine or turbine installed on the University of Massachusetts, Amherst campus or satellite locations.
