A bake sale is a fund-raising event at which individually wrapped cookies, fruit pies, brownies, turnovers, cakes, breads, and cupcakes are sold for non-profit functions. All bake sales must be approved by the Department of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and Auxiliary Enterprises (AE) Conference Services for Campus Center use. No "TCS" food which requires Time and Temperature Control for Saftey are allowed at Bake Sales. Pre-packaged Non-TCS Food is another allowable option for snacks which are pre-packaged, commercially prepared Non-TCS foods, (commercial cookies and doughnuts are considered Non-TCS food, as long as there is no cheese, custard, cream, or dairy fillings or frostings which would require cold-holding for food safety).
